After 13 years in the corporate world, I left my corporate job in February 2018. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, even though I wanted it so badly. 

I said goodbye to people I love and respect, a career I built spanning years, departments, countries and roles, and the safety and security that truthfully kept me there all those years. 

Looking back, almost 4 years now, I wonder what I would tell my 2018 self?
