Four At The Back

What If? Arsenal...

Listen Later

Time for something a little different.

In this week's episode, Maz, Neil and Pete take a look back at one of modern football's biggest sliding doors moments; what if Arsenal never left Highbury? In 2006, the Gunners made the move to a brand new, state of the art stadium at The Emirates, following one of the most successful periods in their history, as Arsene Wenger's men lifted two league titles and a slew of domestic cups. The move was meant to signify Arsenal's transition back into the elite of European football; 15 years on, they have slipped back into continental also-rans. Where might they be if they'd remained at the site of their greatest successes? Did their ambition outweigh their means? Let us know what you think.
