Wanderers are back in the cup and have been handed the world’s least romantic first round tie, against Barnsley. But that doesn’t stop Marc and Henry chatting up a storm to give fans the build up to the game.

We look back at a weird weekend defeat against Oxford United, talk formations, Plan B, Dapo as a wing-back and who exactly IS in the sort of form that will make Ian Evatt happy to put their name on the team-sheet.

We go through all the big headlines of the week including season ticket news, the big festive fixture switch and the Supporters’ Trust securing their application to make the University of Bolton Stadium and ACV. We even explain what an ACV actually means.

We open up the postbag and wonder what might have happened if Big Sam got the money he wanted back in 2007, play a cryptic game of Nicky Hint and best of all, get a special song dedicated to the original Robbie Savage and his magical moment at Wrexham.
