A decade ago, robots were used to entertain people by failing horribly at whatever they were supposed to do and those very videos would go viral on YouTube. Fast forward to today, no one dare disesteems automation anymore. Autonomous driving is already a thing, millions of factory workers are readily replaced by robots and even our voice can easily be recognized and converted into other forms by AI. Robots can already rival humans at competitive games, intellect, and even menial jobs. It is already happening- the 'transformation' as they said. So, in today's episode, we take a look at how the future of automation can pan out: What effects it had on the economy in the past, the present role of automation in the workforce, and what could be its entanglements going forward in time. After all of that, we will go a step further; we will take a look at a hypothetical world in the distant future where all human labor is replaced by automation as we will try and analyze how such a world would function and what would be its implications.
