My name is Frances Marione and I’m dead...well, sort of. You see, while my body has long since decayed to dust, and I’m never again to know the pleasures or depreciations of the flesh. I’m well..i’m still here: I think, I reason, I see —hear, just as often and as well as any of you who still draw breath. Aside from the obvious, the main difference between the living, and the somewhat-mostly-dead, is that we are unable to, “affect” the physical world, or at least, affect it with the ease and magnitude of a living person. This means that those like me are more-or-less, invisible, inaudible and...incorporeal. Only under very special circumstances is this not the rule, and if I may be quite frank, “living” forever in this state is quite dreadfully boring though, I suppose it’s not all completely bad however, as over the years I have had more free time to learn many things, some interesting and grand, others not so much, and it was through this, my “post-breath” education —we’ll call it— that I have become acquainted with the fact that during my alive years I was what was known in the spirit world as, “an accomplished creator” —A being of untold creative power. An accomplished creator is such an immensely powerful creature in fact, that reality allows only for one such being to live in the universe at any given time. Such a power does not go unnoticed it seems, as I've discovered the truth about myself, that from an accomplished creator’s first breath, their power makes them a beacon for all sorts of invisible psychic parasites that feed off of the accomplished creator’s powers, and weaken their bodies and minds until death. It’s what happened to me..it’s how I died, being feasted upon by those things, and I'll be cast into the scorching depths before I let it happen to someone else you see! For the next accomplished creator has already been chosen, soon to be born, and I shall be there by her side, as the top of her sweet head crests her mothers womb, to guide her, protect her, watch over her...It is said that her name is to be Cait Raft, heard of her? —well of course not!
