Everyone is born with a dream to live a life that counts! We often ditch our dream to have a life that counts. 

Ordinary -Failures -Damage

We can't live a life that counts from behind a fence.

How do we handle life's damage in a way that doesn't cause us to ditch our dreams of a life that counts?

Friendship has the power to make a difference in life.

Sidelines are safe, but making a difference is messy.

Focusing on the outside before the inside is flawed

Friendships that are life altering are always practical

Instead of building fences around our lives for protection, let's fulfill our purpose by being the kind of friend Jesus is.

Scripture

Luke 5:17-26

One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there...Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 

When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said, Friend, your sins are forgiven...

Which is easier: To say, Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Get up and walk?

So he said to the paralyzed man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home. Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.
