Someday Syndrome “Your One Life” – Lance Witt
Someday Syndrome LACK: Time – Ability – Money
Everyone is born with a dream to live a life that counts! We often ditch our dream to have a life that counts.
Ordinary – Failures – Damage – Lack
How do we make sure that the “someday syndrome” doesn’t scam us out of a life that counts?
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd…By this time it was late in the day – Mark 6:34-44
This is a remote place, they said, and it’s already very late. Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat. – Mark 6:34-44
But He (Jesus) answered, You give them something to eat. They said to him, That would take more than half a year’s wages! How many loaves do you have? He asked. Go and see. Mark 6:34-44
Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. Mark 6:34-44
Surrender to Jesus can do what supply cannot!
We have purpose in the mundane moments
Partnering with Jesus requires surrender
We’re privileged to pass along God’s goodness
Doing what we can – with what we have – right now in surrender to Jesus is life changing for others and ourselves.
