In this episode, I'm sharing the real story behind how trusting myself, and being a little delusional, led to my very first retreat. 

I talk about the power of believing in your dreams before there's proof, shifting your mindset when things don't go as planned, and continuing to take small actions towards the life you feel called to create. What started as a simple desire to find a physical space to offer reiki didn't work out, trusting that something else was just around the corner. That trust quickly led me here...preparing to host a day retreat this spring. 

I also share more about my Free Reiki February offering and what I hope people experience at this retreat... Feeling connected to their higher self, rooted in who they are, open to new connections, and safe to share their stories in a supportive environment.

In this episode of What if with genevieve, I share my healing journey and the realization I could only see in hindsight... that healing my soul is what ultimately healed my body. 

Like many people, I began my journey focused on physical healing. I was never consciously trying to "heal my soul". I followed what felt supportive in the moment, listening to my intuition, honoring emotional shifts, exploring spirituality, and doing what brought me back to my body. 

Looking back now, I can see that emotional and spiritual healing naturally led to nervous system regulation. As I listened more deeply to my higher self, my body began to feel safer, more regulated, and more at ease. 

In this episode, we explore:

• Reiki as a tool for self-healing and healing others- and why offering healing can fill your cup

Day 6 is all about getting out of your comfort zone. I realized I can no longer go to dinner by myself and say I am getting out of my comfort zone. Solo episodes still make me very uncomfortable so I chose that as my activity today. 

In this episode I will share examples in my life that allowed me to trust my intuition. I encourage you to write down your own examples through this episode to see if there is a common theme as to how your intuition communicates to you.

Today's challenge is the one i'm most excited for. 

Take a moment to ask for guidance, whether from angels, spirit guides, passed loved ones, or a higher power of your choice. 

Stay open and aware as you move through your day. Guidance can show up in many ways: a song, a feather, a repeated number, a tarot card, a message that lands at just the right time, or a feeling you can't ignore. 

If you receive a sign or a meaningful message today, acknowledge it and thank them for showing up and reminding you that you're guided and protected.

Day 4 of the challenge isn't about forcing deep talks, it's about creating space for them. When we ask questions, listen openly and reach out, we open the door for unexpected insight. Be present!

Maybe you converse more with your cashier at the grocery store. 

Maybe you call a friend you haven't talked to in awhile. 

Maybe you overhear a meaningful conversation between strangers.

Over the past year, meditation has become part of my daily life. It's helped me feel more grounded and still, and has opened space for deeper connection with my intuition, higher self and guardians. 

There's no one "right" way to meditate and can look so different for everyone. Some people prefer sitting, others laying down (that's usually what feels best for me). The most important part is simply choosing what feels best for you. 

A few ways I like to meditate: 

-Listening to sound bath music 

-Guided meditations on Youtube (Gabby Bernstein and Great Meditation are my favorites) 

-Intuitively guiding myself through my own meditation 

-Silent meditation

Day 2 of the challenge! 

This is the day I feel will bring the most emotions to the surface for me. We're so used to moving onto the next thing and having constant stimulation. I am constantly listening to music or podcasts in the background and at night I reach for my phone if I am bored. I wanted to see what would happen when I silenced the input.

I hope day 2 of the challenge invites you to turn inward and connect more deeply with your higher self and intuition to hear what your body is trying to communicate simply by silencing distractions. 

Sometimes the answers come when we finally get quiet!

Happy New Years everyone!! 

When I hear the word 'challenge' I think it's meant to be hard. This 7 day challenge is not designed to be hard. Some days may be difficult as you are pushed out of your comfort zone or if an emotion within yourself is brought to the surface. However, this challenge is designed to bring you back to yourself and what your body and soul is craving so that you can be intentional throughout 2026. 

I will post the daily prompt every morning on Instagram (@ What_if_with_gi).
