What if you're not really who you think you are? This is something I’ve really been thinking about a lot lately. In this week's podcast episode, I get real about how I've reinvented myself so many times over the years. There have been a lot of moments when I realized I am truly not the person I thought I was and neither are you! Sometimes when we have a desire or want to create something in our lives, our brain likes to make us think we can’t. We aren’t good enough, smart enough, or whatever other stories it conjures up and those are all lies.
I think a lot of us live our days on cruise control believing we're a certain way, without really digging into what we truly want. We put ourselves in these boxes based on who we assume we should be. But how about we give ourselves permission to imagine bigger possibilities and grow into the person who can make those dreams happen?
In the episode, I open up about my own journey of selling all our stuff and moving to a totally new state to go after our big dreams. Not gonna lie, it was scary AF and waaaaay out of my comfort zone! But I had to release the version of me that was terrified, and become the version of me that was all in on creating the life I really wanted. She’s the version that’s within all of us and we get to learn how to tap in.
Your mind might try to play it "safe" by freaking out about everything that could go wong. I mean, that’s what our brains were wired for…. Safety first! But playing small won't ever let you step into who you're truly capable of being. You’ve gotta get uncomfortable, take some leaps, and step your safety zone to expand into the you who lives the big life.
If there's a dream in your soul, trust that it's there for a reason. You've already got everything within you to make it a reality. And I'm here to guide you into becoming her now, so you can elevate you, own your power, and live the life you were always meant for.
Remember, you're the one who gets to choose who you become. Don't let fear force you to stay stuck in an old version of you that doesn't light you up anymore.
Rooting for you,
