Ask people— even “church people”— what a church actually is, and you’ll receive multiple answers.

⭐️ Some answers will suggest a denomination or affiliation (i.e., we’re Baptists, they’re Pentecostal, they’re nondenominational or “community church”)

⭐️ Other answers might refer to a time a “church group” meets for worship on Sunday

⭐️ A few answers might relate to style of music

⭐️ Others might refer to stories of the past— perhaps fond memories…

But…

What is a church?

To “grow” (a loaded, multi-faceted word we’ll tackle a few episodes from now), we need to know WHAT a healthy church is.
