Hospice Quinte's weekly 4-5 minute podcast brings you important information about end of life issues, bereavement, grief, hospice palliative care, and Hospice Quinte's services and events. Caregivers work tirelessly to ensure the person they’re caring for is as safe and healthy as they can make them. As a result, nearly all of their energy gets put into providing care with the resources they’ve been given, and they don’t necessarily have the time to research some goods or services that might ease some of the more difficult aspects of caregiving. What is that person to do?  They come to the second annual Eastern Ontario Caregiver Expo hosted by Hospice Quinte. Given there are instances where adults can sometimes reject or avoid the death of someone close to them, it can be challenging for a child to fully grasp the concept. A person’s reaction to death depends on a multitude of factors. While there is no right way to mourn the death of someone you know, there can be certain actions a person could take in an attempt to cope that could be harmful to themselves or those around them.
