"How do I charge or pay a fair rate?"  This question asked by Mark is a very common issue I hear about, so here is my take on it.  When considering the fair price or rate, I would argue "fairness" has nothing to do with the price or rate, but rather the results. 

Whether you pay a lot, or pay little, as long as you get the results you want, it is fair... whether you pay a lot, or little, and you don't get the results you want... it seems unfair.
