A familiar is a creature other than one's self that acts as a companion to the practitioner. This could be a cat or a reptile. This may not be a pet. This is a creature that is always there or they seem very interested in what you are doing while you are trying to practice anything magic related. A lot of the time, they pick you. You do not pick them. Do you have a familiar? How did they find you?
