The highly propagated elements of popular culture have programmed the masses into believing that a ghetto is a place where impoverished people are forced to live among the criminal underclass of society in total squalor, without resources, opportunities, or a future. And sure, that’s a part of it, but only a fraction. But have we really considered what a ghetto is, and the different types of ghettos in existence?
