  • Those who prefer the “quality time” love language might enjoy taking trips or having deep conversations with their partner.
  • Words of Affirmation– Saying supportive things to your partner
  • Acts of Service– Doing helpful things for your partner
  • Receiving Gifts– Giving your partner gifts that tell them you were thinking about them
  • Quality Time– Spending meaningful time with your partner
  • Physical Touch– Being close to and caressed by your partner
  • Each of us differs in the ways that we receive love. By learning to give love in the ways that our partner can best receive it, and by asking our partner to give us love in the ways that we can receive it, we can create stronger relationships.

    • Time, self-reflection, planning, how does God choose gift? To Him most precious, and most unique.

    Important element is to know recipient. Our Lord knows with a depth, knew exactly what we need. He knew every one of us need to be saved personally, only His Begotten Son could be this gift.

    Effective gift giver know and love recipient. Authentic gift, no love no gift. Individual gift, given in love piece of the heart. Some of us don’t want to enter into this.

    Fear of rejection, vulnerability of the gift giver. Cannot confirmed the person received in the spirit given.

    Giving gift good feeling, it can, but not always have to.

    Detachment in giving the gift, expectation indicative.

    Reciprocity included in gift giving, element lost the measure. How do we restore the measure more like God the Father in giving gifts.

    Know the person what they love and need, joy. Best of your means fulfill with the ability. Once give the gift, no control of how it is used or enjoyed. Given freely with no strings. Absolute autonomy. Invest heart but not ego in gift giving.
