Each episode of “Local Farey Tales” tells the tale of a local fare with the voices that know it best.

What is a local fare? Local Fare is a food or beverage that is unique to a region, state, or city. And more importantly, it’s beloved by the people in that area. It provokes a sense of pride, happy memories, family memories, community history, a cure for homesickness, instant bonding or acts as an ice breaker. It’s something that feels like it will never go away but if it ever does…well, let’s not think about that. Instead, let’s learn about these local fares and keep the tradition going!
