And I'm joined again today by Clark Holt. Welcome Clark. Thanks, Dan. And Clark, I'm so glad you're here for this one because we get this question a lot. What is a mutual fund? So, a mutual fund is really just an investment vehicle where investors pull their money and it's managed by professional managers investing in things like stocks, bonds, or a combination of both. Okay. So, what's the one people I'm sorry, the one thing people should know before investing in a mutual fund? So, one thing that people should know and unlike ETFs, which we talked about in an earlier episode, mutual funds trade at the close of the market. So it's not liquid during the day during market hours. That's one thing to think about. And I will add, you want to pay attention to fees. You want to pay attention to turnover and taxes and also again the history of the mutual fund family, the mutual fund itself, looking for more like historical performance to get kind of a good track record. Absolutely. So when you're trying to decide between mutual funds or ETFs, which like you're saying, we talked about in a previous episode, you're looking for things like, you know, what how does that complement your investment strategy? what's your tax strategy? All those and costs, all those kinds of details that go into making a real thorough diversified investment portfolio. Exactly. Awesome. That's a great explanation.
