Hades has been called by Merriam Webster Dictionary as, the land of the dead or “Hell” itself. The Hebrew word “SHEOL” spoke of the state, condition, or place of the dead in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, “SHEOL” is called “HADES”. Today, we will look at what Hades is and I will provide you with a GENERAL UNDERSTANDING from both the OLD and NEW Testaments as to what HADES or SHOEL means in light of where all human beings “CHOOSE” as their final destination for eternity.
