Great Overall Resource

Good overview

This was a solid, if high level, overview of Blockchain and how it works. I felt it was concise and well put together.

Interesting if a tad dry

I got two books about the new cryptocurrency and while this book is far more broad in its scope I think its a better place for someone to start if they are just trying to understand the method behind the madness. The one drawback is that towards the end of this short audiobook it becomes a bit(and by that I mean EXTREEMLY) dry as it spends minutes listing off things in what would more than likely just be a bulleted list in the actual printed edition. All in all tho I think I liked it.

Good introduction to the concept of blockchains

Recently I've become really interested in crypto currency as a concept rather than as an investment. I've listened to other books about blockchains but while they were rich in technical details on how blockchains works, they didn't provide a thousand-foot view of what a blockchain is and what you can do with it.

This book fills that gap. It provides that high-level view and a list of possible applications for blockchain. That helped the lightbulb go off in my head to fully grok the concept.

So I recommend this book if you understand the concept of blockchains, but you are confused what you can Do with them.

Still A Lot Unclear On How This Works

This was a good overview on Blockchain technology but I think this is something I'd have to see to understand a little better. I get that it's a ledger for any and all transactions and records but what about the 'what ifs'? Maybe like bitcoin, blockchain is still in its infancy. Does this replace paperwork? I think so and I can see the awesomeness this will have in the future. I want to know more.

This was an interesting book by Matt Harris. Hopefully there'll be more audiobooks like this one in the near future. Good info.

Rick Baverstock's narration was great for this type book. He had an easy to understand tone and spoke clearly in an easy to follow manner.
