PM Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the Covid-19 situation and public preparedness amid an uptick in the cases. India saw 1,134 fresh coronavirus cases while the active cases stood at 7,026. Five deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 5,30,813.
