In today's podcast episode I ask the question: What is church?
In order for us to know why something exists and how it should function, we need to know what it is. So, today I will be defining church from a biblical perspective. Here's what you can expect from this episode:
1) Comparing the connotations of the word church with it's etymology
2) Showing that the word "church" was not the word that Jesus and the New Testament writers used to refer to a community of believers.
3) Defining Christian community biblically
