After John Carpay’s speech this weekend to a few hundred Rebel Media fans, I had to find out more about conservatism. Luckily, I know someone who has been a conservative in a number of political parties. Mark Taylor, Executive Director of the Alberta Party, sat down with me to chat about conservatism. Mark has been involved in the Saskatchewan PCs (he claims it was the youth wing…), the federal Green Party, the Wildrose, and now, the Alberta Party. Somehow taxes came up, and populism, and I’ll put more time into practicing words before I record again.
