What is Difference Between Open Work Permit Visa & Work Permit Visa | Gurpreet Wander | Immigration
1. Open work permit is a permit of dependent of international Student or international worker exemption c42. It’s based on LMIA. Work permit is that you have to obtained a LMIA (labor market impact assessment).

2. Length of Stay depend on your spouse’s length of stay. If your spouse has 3 year work permit or study of 2 years then you can stay in Canada up to 3 years & 2 years respectively.

3. In open work permit you are not restricted to work under one employer, but in work permit you have to work under one employer who give you job offer letter.

4. For open work permit embassy fee is $255 cad & for work permit this fee is $155 cad.
