What is freedom from sin?

Many Christians know about it and talk about it, but they seem to have missed the point of the scriptures and this important doctrine.

Jesus came to take away our sins, not just forgive, but completely remove them. And when we are set free from sin, we are no longer sinners. These are not my words, but this is what the scriptures tell us.
