1. God is our Father. (Matthew 6:9)

        He is an eternal Father. (John 8:58)

        God is our own personal Father. (Psalm 62:8)

        He provides for us. (Matthew 7:7-11)

 
2. God is almighty. (Isaiah 40:23-26, Luke 1:37)

 
3. God is the creator of the universe. (Genesis 1, Isaiah 40:26&28)

• Take a careful look at a leaf or flower.  Notice all of its details and thank God for creating and designing such an intricate thing that functions so well!
•  Read and reflect on Psalm 104 as a hymn to God as Creator.  What are some ways that it talks about God as providing for the things He has made?
• Revel in the amazing truth in Lord’s Day 9 that “...the eternal Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who out of nothing created heaven and earth and everything in them, who still upholds and rules them by his eternal counsel and providence, is my God and Father because of Christ his Son.”
