Perhaps God is asking you to adjust your life to Him, but you are reluctant. He might be calling you to join Him in His activity, but for one reason or another, you balk at the opportunity. Your reluctance to obey could be the sign of a deeper problem. John makes it clear that those who obey Him are the ones who truly know Him.
