#80: Today we’re talking about a word that carries a lot of weight in church circles—ministry. For many people, that word brings up images of pulpits, mission trips, or being on staff at a church. And if we’re not doing those things, it can feel like we’re not really in ministry.

But what if that definition is too narrow?

What if ministry isn’t about where you serve, or whether your work is in a church building or a nonprofit, but about how you show up with the gifts God gave you?

Heavenly Position Guidance Challenge:

For this week’s Heavenly Position System Challenge. Be sure to take out your journals and ask God to show you where your motivational gift is already being used to minister to others—especially outside of a church setting.

Then ask Him: “Is there a place I’ve been dismissing as ‘just a job’ when it’s actually the very place You’ve called me to minister?”

Write out what He shows you. Let Him reframe your perspective. Your Monday-through-Friday might be more Spirit-led than you ever realized.
