This week, we continued studying Matthew 16:13-19, gleaning the direction it gives to every believer's question, "What is my purpose?" As Jimmy summarized, Scripture shows us that every believer's purpose is "to be salt and light as part of the family of God; to distribute the grace of God in my assignment, where I currently am; to take the authority and the power given to us by Jesus to bind and loose the Kingdom of heaven on earth through prayer; and to literally bring in the Kingdom of God and push out darkness by the way I live my life, not in perfection, but in honesty and clarity, appointing everyone to Jesus and His purpose and His plan." God, convict us to live the purpose You have designed for us!
