About Dr Carolyn Ee
Dr Carolyn Ee is a Fellow of the RACGP who practises integrative medicine. She is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and medical acupuncturist and has a PhD in acupuncture from the University of Melbourne. She is a Senior Research Fellow at Western Sydney University and is a leader within integrative healthcare and research.
Her current research focuses on the role of complementary therapies for metabolic disorders such as Polycystic Ovary syndrome, obesity, Type 2 diabetes and weight gain after breast cancer; integrative healthcare services; and wellbeing; and her research skills span a broad range of methodologies including clinical trials, qualitative research, and health services research.
