On October 22nd, ballots will begin to arrive in mailboxes across the province. These ballots will ask you if you’d like to change the voting system in our province from First Past the Post to Proportional Representation. Additionally, you’ll be asked what system of PR you prefer (if any at all).

In an effort to help clear up some of the confusion around proportional representation, all this week on the Jon McComb Show we will be breaking down the three options for PR in plain and simple language. Today, Niki will start by explaining how our current system works, why some people want it to change, and what proportional representation is.
