What is Self Worth? + 5 Steps for How to Build it

Today we’re beginning a 5-part series on something so foundational that it’s often missed.  Think of the thick slab of concrete underneath a house. If you don’t have that piece and you try to build your house on top of it, your home is going to be shaky. Our self-worth is the same way to our mental health.

Many people get confused between self-worth, self-confidence, and self-esteem, but in reality, they’re all very closely related and are used to describe different aspects of how you perceive yourself, your abilities, and how you may express those inwardly and outwardly to others. We’re not going to dive into the differences today, but we’re going to focus on an aspect I believe to be the root of all three, and that is self-worth.
