Apostles connect you to the mission of god

Prophets connect you to the heart of god

Evangelists connect you to the message of god

Pastors connect you to the people of god

Teachers connect you to the truth of god

When the five fold functions in the church… the church flourishes!

The five fold is so important because it is the ministry of Christ through the body of Christ leading us to the fullness of Christ

Apostolic - Influences and transforms the world that we are in locally, regionally, and globally with the values of Heaven

Prophetic - Develops an encounter atmosphere connecting people with the presence of God!

Evangelistic - reveals King Jesus to those who don’t know him through words, works, and wonders

Pastoral - cultivates Kingdom character and community through coaching, counseling, and care

Teaching - communicates biblical truth through teaching and training to see transformation

The church operated in the gifts of Jesus and the fullness of Christ was manifested through the church!

1. The church meshed together

equip is the greek word katartismos

It means: to prepare or equip; to adjust, put in order, to restore

To be the church Jesus intended means that we do not try to function broken and fractured, but be brought into alignment in order to function and operate correctly

Our commitment to God, ourselves, and each other.. should be to allow Holy Spirit and our church family to help bring us to a place of wholeness

we all should be consistently committed to true Kingdom alignment and function that keeps us moving together in divine direction where Jesus is the Head and we are the body together!

2. The church ministered together

Acts 2: 1-4 NLT

Ministry is doing the works of God

Ministry is finding those who are oppressed by the enemy and bringing them into the reality of God & His Kingdom

Acts 8:4 - all went out and preached

Mark 16: 17-18 - all can heal and deliver

John 14:12 - all can do greater things than Jesus

Heb. 5:12 - all should be teaching in some capacity

The church Jesus intended is a Body that functions and ministers together!

The maintenance-minded do the mediocre.. the mission-minded do the miraculous!

The church that ministers together… multiplies everywhere!

3. The church was a movement

Acts 17:6 TPT

The church Jesus intended understands and embraces the revelation we have been anointed to be a movement!

divine moments should serve as catalysts for divine movements!

We must be a movement that moves into every place of societal influence and brings Heaven to Earth!
