Kevin: What is the gospel? Well, it's the entire, all-encompassing story of the Bible! The story that explains how all of humanity was cast out of God's kingdom because of our rebellion, and we are now trapped in a perpetual destructive cycle of sin, death, and wrath, killing and destroying each other, until Jesus, the prophesied prophet-priest-king brought heaven, which is the kingdom of God, down to earth and released it out to the rest of the world through his death and resurrection, establishing kingdom communities called churches, and now he reigns as the true Lord over all of the earth, and one day he will return to judge the world for the last time.
