Did you know a single cup of coffee contains enough moisture to blanket your entire neighborhood with fog 50 feet thick? That's what a friend of mine told me. It's amazing how such a small amount of water—spread out so thinly—can hinder our vision almost completely.

Every time you and I forget who we are and why we are alive, we end up walking around in a spiritual fog. How easily we forget even the simplest truths. Yet nothing is more important than remembering the Gospel truth.  I like what Lane Cohee says: “The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News—the Good News—that God made a way to redeem us from death and reconcile us to Himself, so that we might have an eternal relationship with Him.”

In Romans 1:16, the apostle Paul writes that he is not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. Like Paul, let’s never forget the Gospel truly is good news. It’s the way out of spiritual death and into new and everlasting life with God. It’s the best message that anyone could ever receive, so share it with people around you.

I tell you, honestly, I never get tired of the Good News of Jesus Christ. Let’s never forget its beautiful, glorious truths.
