As Christians we have to realize that, yes, we must work on our conscious mind; the thinking part of our soul. We must, according to Romans 12:2 “let God transform us into a new person by changing the way we think.” But, that is not the end game. Our ultimate goal is to renew our mind, to manage our conscious thinking, so we can control what gets into our hearts. Proverbs 23:7 says "As a man thinketh IN HIS HEART, so is he."
