Luca Pezzo, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Finance at UNO, joins Newell to talk about the financial literacy and trading education program at the University of New Orleans called “Tools for Trading in Financial Markets.” The program is designed to make financial markets accessible and understandable for the public, with a focus on financial literacy fundamentals, hands-on market training, and community support. “Unlike a traditional academic investment class, which focuses on theory for careers in finance, our course is fully practical. Students actively engage with a trading platform, develop real-world skills, and can participate regardless of whether they are UNO students.”
