This episode travels the centuries from Lord Byron over 300 years ago, to the 20th century with Langston Hughes and Sylvia Plath, and then to a new genre in the 21st century, ‘Instapoetry’, with the likes of Atticus and Rupi Kaur, and even some of this week’s guest’s very own work. This time travel is all in an attempt to answer one question: “What is the value of poetry?”
