This topical episode examines (1) Jesus' claim that He is Truth, (2) the nature of general and special revelation, and (3) the way in which the Bible frames misunderstanding the Truth. Jesus claim to be the Truth is examined in light of (a) the reality that He is the Word of God and (b) the Hebrew understanding that the Word of God is both a written text and an active agent in creation. General and special revelation are examined primarily through the lens of Psalm 19 and Romans 1. The Bible's framing of misunderstanding is built of of John 8:43-47.
