• We’re not really talking about things like industry consolidation, wars, pandemics, but obviously that has ripple effects. 
• Interest rates obviously impact every industry, but they tend to change over quarters, not days. 
• We’ve seen things happen that impact industries temporarily, but don’t necessarily reshape the generally held rules - Oil/Energy, Hybrid/Electric Cars, IT/Cloud, 
• Internet “reimagined” a number of industries - Media, Advertising, Restaurants, etc.
• Autonomous driving. Faster drug discovery. Discovery of new materials. 
• Financial crashes tend to happen about once a decade, when bubbles burst. Is the AI bubble next?
