I'm listening to Rush while I write this podcast. We lost Neil Peart last week, and it feels like I lost a part of myself. As I groove to the greatness of this unique Canadian band---it hits me that Neil is going to live on in his music. Each time someone plays the song, it is almost like Neil is performing a private concert for them.
What is your legacy? This thought has made me strive to make sure that what I produce is something that can live on past me. I want someone to listen to this podcast years later, and they will feel an impact past my death. I am going to play Rush for my kids and grandchildren, and Neil will be there playing just like he was when he was alive. Play on Neil, play that music!!!
