What Is Your Podcast Elevator Pitch?

Listen Later

An elevator pitch is a brief description of a product, a company, or an idea that fully encompasses the point you want to convey with a succinct delivery. The concept is that whoever you’re delivering it to will be able to comprehend the summary of your message without you needing to elaborate.

An elevator pitch is a great tool to have at networking functions and when meeting new people. In these settings, it’s difficult to go into long-form detail about what you do or a product you may be selling because people are mingling with others.

In Episode 27 of Pod Theory, I'm going to share why your podcast needs an elevator pitch, too. This clear, concise, and easy-to-deliver message will be a great tool to have for spreading the word about your podcast in multiple ways.
