Ethical or moral qualities are more important than material possessions. Folly is an ethical concept, fools do things that deny God and bring about actions that are contrary / opposite to Him. To top it off their speech does not reflect the reality of God's divine character. Also keep in mind the term poor can also be translated as "innocence". This is important to help us understand what I want to draw from today's teaching topic, "the poor".
