What It Means To Truly Be In A State Of Acceptance
In life, we have to accept the truth for what it is and sometimes, the way in which we perceive ‘the truth’ is not always the reality of it.
Acceptance doesn't mean that you can't work on changing things. Many people believe that acceptance is a sign of apathy. Passivity. Giving up. Relinquishing agency. However, this doesn't have to be the case.
Being truly accepting of a situation will create a space for you to have more clarity and understanding in order to make the necessary changes or take the necessary actions in order to adapt and thrive.
“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
