Real Talks on the Rocks

What it takes to build a Podcast-Dave Sands of "The Food Origins Podcast"

Listen Later

On this episode of Real Talks on the Rocks, I sit down with Dave Sands, who is the host of "The Food Origins Podcast". Dave is a former police officer with the San Francisco Police Department who recently left the department. Dave talks about his passion for food and why he decided to start a podcast, especially since he is an introverted person.

Dave talks about what he saw as a police officer and how that shaped his interest in food, owning a restaurant, and the stories behind those who create some of the most delicious cuisine in San Francisco. Dave and myself also spend a great deal of time discussing what it takes to build a podcast and understanding why it is we decided to start our own. We learn just how important it is to communicate why your show exists and the the importance of building trust with your audience.
