This bitter cold time is when I hole up in my house, crank the heat, put on a fire, and cozy up on the couch. What a blessing it is. There are many people, though, who don't have any of those simple luxuries and are fighting through this bitter long weekend outside... homeless. I wanted to interview someone with personal experience to see what life on the streets is like, what is helpful to homeless people, and how to help them get back on their feet.
