Are you planning on doing international work or moving abroad? How can it give you a different perspective while traveling to other countries to help other people? 

 

This week’s Pre OT Secrets, Jessica Lopez will interview Brianna Miller. Brianna is an energetic and highly qualified Occupational Therapist. She got her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago and completed her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. 

They will touch on such topics as:

  • Immersing in a unique experience and different cultures 
    • The connections you make while traveling and advocate to your profession
      • The best and worst parts of working as an occupational therapist in another country
        • Occupational therapy is not well known to black and brown communities.
          • Low services to black and brown communities must be addressed.
          • Find where your heart calls you to find your purpose and that will continue to bring you to the foundation of who you are.
