Listen Later

Imagine you moving abroad, working in an unfamiliar culture, and helping people after an injury or illness. How would you start to face adversity, fulfill your dreams and inspire others along the way? How would you make the most of your opportunities in life and push yourself outside your comfort zone?

This week’s Pre OT Secrets, Jesica Lopez will interview Briana Miller. Brianna is an energetic and highly qualified Occupational Therapist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Currently completing her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch.

They will touch on such topics as:

  • She dreamed of helping people with disabilities, inspiring them to be as independent as she was.
  • How Botswana was made firm to be an OT using her purpose of supporting, empowering, and encouraging women, youth, and children.
  • How she connects, collaborates, shares & creates with people who are like-minded.
  • Her passion is to serve and help those who need help. She never looks at the status or condition of a person if he or she comes to me for a helping hand.
  • Sometimes, all you need is a little bit of courage to finally take that plunge.
