She has written a book Making History Mine: Meaningful Connections for Grades 5-9 and also writes frequently for MiddleWeb's Future of History blog. Tara Dale has taught for 12 years. She teaches high school science classes (ecology, environmental science, and psychology) in Arizona. Alexis Wiggins is author of The Best Class You Never Taught: How Spider Web Discussion Can Turn Students into Learning Leaders. She is the founder and director of the Cohort of Educators for Essential Learning (CEEL), an organization that unites like-minded educators around the globe. She has worked as an English teacher in six different countries and as an instructional coach for all subject areas.
