Raised in an Israeli kibbutz, he had a fine art career and owned an ad agency in NYC. A midlife crisis transformed him from a skeptic into a dedicated spiritual seeker. Since 1995, he has integrated teachings from his Indigenous and Western mentors and devoted himself to nurturing a new generation of healers. Beery was initiated into the "Circle of 24 Yachaks of Imbabura" in Ecuador and with the Amazonian Kanamari Pajè in Brazil.
