Seventy-five-year-old Gerd Muller, one of the greatest strikers in football history, passed away on Sunday. After winning almost all the titles he could, the legendary German scorer left a series of records at both the national team and the club level.
When Muller was playing, he did not have the most all-round skills or the most dazzling dribbles. Most of his work on the field was to appear in the correct location and send the ball into the net in the most efficient way. Muller made it seem so easy, but no one ever matched him doing what he did.
